Debate Team
Speech and Debate Team will hold its first meeting on Wednesday Septermber 27th
at 2:30 PM in room B19. Speak with Mr. Rotar if you cannot attend.
Speech and Debate is a competitive high school activity comprised of three types of debate and ten speaking events. Students from Mentor High School compete at weekly Saturday tournaments against students from area high schools. The competition season begins in late October and runs through April. State and national level competitions are also available.
The debate meets every Wednesday after school in B-19, and the speech team meets after school every Thursday. For more information, conact Mr. Rotar at the English Office 974-5300.
