Freshmen Chamber Ensemble is an auditional group of singers who want to study chamber music, from madrigals and lieder in foreign languages to seasonal carols. Emphasis is on learning the style of chamber singing and performance. Freshmen Chanber Ensemble will meet one day per week, after school, for approximately one hour. Approximately 4 to 6 perfomances will be scheduled over the course of the year. Audition and placement is based on tone quality, music reading ability, and the needs of the group.
