Mission Statement
The Interact club is a club for seniors that is affiliated with the Mentor Rotary Club. Together, we have sponsored a Thanksgiving meal for the less fortunate, where the MHS students serve a meal provided by the Rotar and Marty La Malfa. We sponsor a Valentine's Day Party at Heartland of Mentor assisted living home, where students enjoy bringing some love and attention to the senior citizens, sharing punch and cookies, and entertaining them with dance and song. The students also meet with the Mentor Rotary and are going on a trip his year to Niagara to see how a Rotary International meeting is conducted. Interact descibes the club perfectly, as it brings high school students together in a positive, productive way to help the community.
