Mission Statement
Mock Trial gives students an opportunity to prepare and argue court cases in a competition at the Lake County Common Pleas Court. Students receive facts of the case and spend months preparing their arguments for the prosecution and defense. They then test their skills against other area schools with real Lake County judges and legal professionals as their evaluators. Mock Trial is a great experience for aspiring lawyers or anyone wishing to develop their critical thinking and persuavise speaking skills.
