Student Government Advisor
Mr. Couch is in his fourth year as co-advisor for Student Government. He is also the advisor for Model U.N. and has organized several special visits to Mentor High School by a variety of distinguished international guests through cooperation with the Cleveland Council on World Affairs. Mr. Couch has organized visits featuring delegations from Brazil, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and numerous countries throughout Europe. These efforts in 2008 earned him the Phyllis Layton Perry Educator of the Year Award from the National Council for International Visitors and the Educator of the Year Award for the Cleveland Council on World Affairs.
Mr. Couch also writes a weekly column called Young Thespians for the News-Herald, and is active in area theatre. He lives in Madison with his wife, Melissa, and daughters Mallory and Casey.
