Math League is Mentor High School's premier mathematics club that is open to any student in any grade level. Students in Math League meet every Tuesday afterschool to take practice tests in order to review for the actual competition days. Any student is welcome to join at any time they wish. The Competition: The competition is sponsored by the Ohio Math League and Mentor High competes as a team. Once a month, Math League students take a 6 problem, 30 minute test that involves questions that involve incorporating basic to complex mathematical skills with critical thinking skills. The top 5 scores count towards the school's overall score. Students also compete among one another for grade-based prizes as well.
