Welcome to Model United Nations!
Model United Nations is a premier, National academic club with divisions for middle school up through the collegiate level. In Model United Nations, students first off choose a globally recognized country to represent. After selecting a country, students will then select a comittee to become a part of. Comittees represent actual United Nations delegations ranging from Security Council to World Health Organization. Each committee has two major topics to deal with and students will reserach their respective countries perspecive on those issues. The culmination of all this hard work are the fall and spring Conferences in which we will travel down to Cleveland and participate in mock comittee meetings to showcase our debate and resolution skills with an awards ceremony following the second day of Conference.
Mission Statement
To enrich student knowledge of the United Nations and the global issues it confronts in an ever-changing world in hopes of promoting greater cultural understanding and world peace.
