PRIDE IS Mentor High School's support for the LGBTQ+ community. Questioning students are welcomed and accepted for who they are and how they feel about themselves. PRIDE provides a friendly environment for all and encourages students of all sexual and gender identities to join and help grow the community. PRIDE activities focus on building relationships and understanding through discussion and getting to know individuals. PRIDE also organizes and participates in activities that promote tolerance, acceptance, and diversity. Although our primary focus is on LGBTQ+ issues, we discuss bullying of all sorts. We stand against bullying and support victims of bullying. Although the group focuses on the experiences of individuals, societal issues are addressed too. People may have different opinions and biases. Even if there are strong disagreements, we agree to disagree because it is import to know each other's stands to help co-exist. The group meets on Wednesday's from 2:30 - 3:30 in A-lecture. Everyone is free to join us.
