Welcome to World Travelers!

Mission Statement:

The World Travelers Club allows students to become global learners as they travel internationally and experience a variety of cultures first hand. Global travel requires independence, cooperation and open-mindedness as students encounter diversity, multiculturalism, languages, and environments different from theirs in Mentor. Travel is an educational journey, with a myriad of benefits, from which each student learns from a variety of experiences and grows. Through this club, global citizenship will be prioritized as we educate students about other cultures and prepare them for success in a global society. Why international experiences are important: To gain awareness of global perspectives and connections To align with school curricula and bring subjects, places and events to life To develop the interpersonal skills necessary to navigate new experiences with confidence, maturity and flexibility To stand out on college applications and future resumes Applying to Travel Applicants to the travel program must be Mentor High School students, in solid academic standing and have no concerning disciplinary record. Applicants must have good attendance and no record of frequent tardiness to school or class.
