Track: April 8, 2019

‼️CARDINAL NATION‼️ Students are hosting a Chalk and Toss event before the track meet next Wednesday. Come by for a cornhole tournament by the pavilion. The proceeds are going to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation. Seniors can also come & chalk the senior class sidewalk


Cheerleaders: February 22, 2019

Attention any 9th, 10th and 11th graders who are interested in trying out for cheerleading for 2019-2020 school year - there will be a Coaches clinic on March 4th at 4:45 p.m. in the student center. Coaches will go over techniques to help improve your skills for tryouts. The cost is $10 per cheerleader, to be paid that day. This event will be followed by a mandatory parent and student meeting at the Paradigm starting at 7:00 p.m. Parents and students must attend if they want to tryout for Cheerleading. If you have any questions, please contact any of the cheer coaches.


Hockey: February 22, 2019

Your Mentor Cards Hockey Team, Champions of the Greater Cleveland Baron Cup, are having a milestone year with a record of 30-4-2, the most games won in a season. Evan McBride now holds the All Time Scoring Record and 5 players have recorded 50 points this season: Kyle Backston, Andrew McBride, Jack Heller, Luke Jeffery and Mitch Elliott. Please come out to Kent this Saturday at 5 PM to cheer for your Cards Hockey Players as they take on Gilmour in the District Semi Final Game. Let's bring it, Cards Nation!


Boys Tennis: February 8, 2019

Any boy interested in playing tennis this spring for MHS there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, February 13th from 7:30 - 7:45 am in room C200. Questions? See coach McKnight in room C200


Rugby: January 29, 2019

Rugby players complete and submit your final forms in the AD office and complete your rugby Ohio 2019 spring season registration at www.rugbyohio.com. 1st indoor practice is Sunday, 2/3 at Lakeland Community College, 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland, OH 44094 Girls: 11:30-1pm, Boys; 1pm-2:30pm.


Hockey: January 26, 2019

On Saturday 6:00 PM at the Mentor Ice Arena, your First Place Cards Varsity Hockey faces the Kenston Bombers in a GCHSHL Red Division matchup. Its FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT and SENIOR NIGHT. Come out and support Seniors Chad, Evan, and a pair of Jacks in their final home game. Mentor FANS can win FREE items like hockey hats and T-shirts!! Scheduling: The Technology Education Department is excited to offer several new courses for next year. These courses are fun, hands on and can even provide college credit upon completion. We have new engineering, woodworking and robotics classes to teach you the valuable STEM skills needed for the 21st century. Speak to your counselor today to find out more! Senior Project: Last reminder this week! Senior Project Intent to Participate form is due one week from today on February first. Form can be found in Schoology in the Senior Project course. There is a meeting scheduled for students interested in playing boys lacrosse this spring. Students and their parents should make plans to attend this meeting. Rugby: January 14, 2019

Mentor Rugby Club will be a varsity club program this year at Mentor high school. There will be a boys team and a girls team. Boys & girls interested in playing Rugby Football this spring sign up in the athletic directors office. Player parent kick-off meeting, January 17, 2019, lecture hall C at 6:30pm.


Intramurals: January 9, 2019

Reminder! Intramural bowling resumes this week on Thursday. Intramural bowling is every Thursday in January and February from 3-4 at Roll House Entertainment. Cost is $6.00. As always, intramurals is open to everyone!
