The Homecoming Court 2007:
Lauren Bogatay, Lindsay Deitmen, Gina Ferris, Stacy Jones, Shannon Metelko,
Melanie Miller, Megan Osborne, Jillian Pillar, Ana Reynolds, and Alyssa Zuccaro

Lauren Bogatay is escorted this evening by her parents Maryanne and Bill Bogatay. While at Mentor she has been a member of the varsity volleyball team and is currently co captain. She has participated in student government by volunteering for the blood mobile and Harvest for Hunger. When Lauren is not busy with school activities she enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the beach, listening to music and attending concerts. She is a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers and the Browns, Lauren's future plans include attending a four year college. She is undecided on a major but is leaning toward the fields of marketing and communications.

Lindsey Deitman is being escorted by her parents Laurie and Bill Deitmen. She is a three year member of the varsity volleyball team and is currently a captain. She is the senior class recording secretary and was a junior class student representative and class senator. In her spare time Lindsey enjoys reading, watching movies and sports and spending time with family and friends. After graduation Lindsey plans to attend college and major in occupational therapy.

Gina Ferris is being escorted this evening by her parents Susan and David Ferris. Gina has been involved in many activities at Mentor High School. Her sophomore year she was a jv football cheerleader. Her junior and senior years she was a varsity basketball cheerleader. She is currently a member of spirit club and participated in student government both her junior and senior years. When she is not busy with school, Gina enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with friends. In the future she plans to attend Ohio State to study to become a doctor.

Shannon Metelko is being escorted tonight by her parents Maureen and Gary Metelko. Currently Shannon is the communications officer for Future Leaders and the Social Chair for the Theater department. She is involved in student government, a representative and active member of Model U.N.,Yearbook and Ecology club. She is also involved in the prestigious MHS art department. When she is not involved in school activities she keeps busy taking dance classes at the Willoughby Fine Arts Center. She works at JCPenney in the home department and as a hostess at Oliver Twist. She is currently learning to break dance. Shannon's plans following high school include attending a local college for communications dance, theater, fashion design or teaching. She is also interested in volunteering for the Peace Corp at some point. After college she plans to move to New York or Los Angeles to become a street performer.

Stacy Jones is being escorted this evening by her mother Jodi Jones. While at Mentor , Stacy has been involved with the Theater. She is currently the technical officer for that group. She is Vice President of the student government and a goalie for the Lacrosse team. When not attending school related functions she enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends and family, reading a good book or enjoying a good meal. In the future she plans attending a four year college to major in special education or physical therapy.

Melanie Miller is being escorted this evening by her parents Lisa and Jim Miller. Melanie has participated in a variety of activities while at Mentor High School. She is a member of the varsity volleyball team and also the track team. She was part of the cast and crew of the musical Grand Hotel. She is also involved with interactive media. When Melanie is not in school she enjoys playing softball and volleyball, spending time with her friends and eating Chipotle. In the future Melanie plans on attending a four year college and studying sports management.

Megan Osborne is being escorted by her parents Shelley and Ossie Osborne. Megan has participated in student government, future leaders, spirit club and business club. She has been involved with the leadership luncheon and a member of the honor roll. When Megan is not busy with school activities she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cheering for the Buckeyes and her favorite pastime, watching Hannah Montana. When her time and MHS is complete Megan plans on attending The Ohio State University and majoring in psychology or biology with a focus on pre-medicine.

Jillian Pillar is being escorted this evening by her parents Darlene Lucas and Dave Pillar. While at Mentor Jillian was a jv and then varsity basketball cheerleader. Her sophomore year she was a tutor for the asap program helping students bring up their grades. She is in the business club and on the honor role. Outside of school Jillian has danced at the Fairport Dance Academy for 11 years and spends time with her older brothers attending Browns games. In the future Jillian plans on attending either Ohio State or Dayton University and majoring in either civil or chemical engineering.

Ana Reynolds is being escorted this evening by her parents Jane and Mike Reynolds. She has been active in National Honor Society, Future Leaders, Student Government, Leadership Lake County and a member of the varsity soccer team. During her free time she enjoys playing competitive soccer, playing cards, eating ice cream and hanging out with friends. After high school Ana plans on attending the University of Toledo. While there she will represent the Rockets as a member of the soccer team. She plans to study medicine.

Alyssa Zuccaro is being escorted this evening by her mom Marlene Zuccaro and her brother Ryan Zuccaro. She has participated in varsity soccer for three years and is currently a captain. Her outside interests include a variety of sports such as soccer, golf, baseball, basketball, snowboarding, racquetball, fishing and tennis. She enjoys helping others, hanging out with her best friend -- her mom and her other friends. Alyssa's future plans include attending Bowling Green State University where she is going to study physical therapy or pre childhood development. Her goals are to become a starter on the women's soccer team and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above.
