Sterling Morton Home Page
Sterling Morton Elementary is one of twelve K-6 elementary schools in the Mentor Exempted Village School District. Our school system has three junior high schools, grades 7-9 and one high school. Sterling Morton is made up of 358 students and 18 teachers. It is located near the Mentor Marsh. Here is a picture of the tiled mural that the students made of the marsh.
Sterling Morton is a Venture Capital School receiving $25,000 a year from the State of Ohio for the past four years. Our grant runs for one more year. Click on Venture Capital to learn more about what we are doing with our grant.

P.R.I.D.E. program
Our school has a P.R.I.D.E. program which helps the students to iearn life skills. The letters stand for perseverance, respect, integrity, diversity, and excellence. The students are selected for P.R.I.D.E. awards each week for showing one of the P.R.I.D.E. qualities listed above. The program is very important to our students.
