Mentor's scoring started with a Bill Deitmen 12 yard run. Bart Tanski then ran a 5 yard TD followed by a second Deitmen score from 5 yards out. Mentor took a 21-12 lead into the locker room at half. Tanski hit Mike Popelas to open the second half on a 32 yard strike. Deitmen ran for his 3rd TD on a 1 yard plunge followed by a Cory Zikesch 7 yard TD (on only his second carry of the season). Tanski was 14 of 20 for 239 yards including the TD toss. He also ran for 125 yards on 14 carries. Danny Kelly and Brandon Mack picked off two Tiger passes for the Mentor defense.
