M.H.S. Materials and Processes for Engineers

Welcome to the Mentor High School Materials and Processes Web Page.

Materials and Processes for Engineers is a great glimpse of an engineer's daily life and some of the projects. We do everything from balsa wood towers to gravity cars held together by glue or sturdy welds. Mr. Kandalec is masterful in teaching us what we need to know. If we stumble or get discouraged he places us back on the horse, so we can ride again. He is always challenging us in new and exciting ways. Mr. Kandalec himself has been a judge for a national welding competition. If you are interested in Engineering, are good with your hands, or want to have fun, you should take this class. Take my advice I'm a student and I love it!!!!!! by: Shawn Ryan
