The Top 25 Show Choir is a select group of students from the Choral Music Department at Mentor High School.
The singers are chosen by audition for their singing, dancing, and performance abilities. This year's
show is a nostalgic journey through the influential music of the 1950's
The Show Choir was founded in 1965, and is now in its thirty-third year of performances serving Lake
County and the northeastern areas of Ohio. The group performs regularly for community events, schools,
church organizations, banquets, business meetings and at festivals in northeast Ohio.
Performing tours in the United States have included travel to major cities on, the east coast, west coast,
and In between. They have traveled to Canada, Mexico, and many European countries, including Scandinavia,
England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic and most recently
a tour of Denmark and Norway.
The 1999 summer tour promises to be a most memorable trip as the group tours New Orleans and then embarks
on an eight day performance cruise of the Bahamas. They will perform on the cruise ship and various ports
of call.
