2002-2003 Mentor Top 25 Show Choir

Scott Bergoch is a senior, enjoying his third year in Top 25. He sings bass in the group, as well as in A Cappella Choir. In his free time, you can hear Scott doing the play-by-play for all of the Mentor home football games. He also does the morning announcements. This year, he was a camp counselor at the sixth grade camp in October. Scott began Choir during his
junior high years in Texas, before moving to Mentor. Then, he performed with the Shoreline Singers during his freshman year. Over the past summer, he attended "Show Choir Camps of America" at Heidelburg College. He is grateful for the friendships that have evolved over the last few years, and will cherish them forever. He would also like to thank all of this year's members for all of their hard work and dedication to make this year as successful as possible. He would also like to thank his parents for never giving up, no matter how rough times. Scott would like to give a "shout-out" and a big thanks to
"The Fam" for always being there. He plans to attend school in Florida, where he will pursue a career in broadcasting. He would like to wish the seniors of this year's group the best of luck in all they do, and to never forget the memories shared. Finally, Scott would like everyone to "sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!"
Beth Brewer is a third-year senior and first soprano in Top 25. Outside of the group, she spends her time with Student Council, Future Leaders, National Honor Society, and her job. Next year, Beth plans on attending college and studying an English related field. She would like to thank her family and friends for their never- ending love and support. She hopes that they know how many
smiles they bring to her. To Top 25, she will never forget all the fun times! "God Bless and enjoy the show!"
Jacqueline Kovach is finding it hard to believe her three-year adventure in Top 25 will be ending with the culmination of her senior year. It has been a wonderful combination of people, travel, and triumphs. Jacqueline plans on attending BGSU for early childhood education. She is also doing an internship at Hopkins Elementary with the wonderful Mrs. Gerard. She would like to thank
her parents and grandparents who were always at the shows so she could smile out to them. She will carry the memories and fellow Top 25 members in her heart forever "Enjoy the show!"
Amber Musarra is a senior who is really enjoying her third year in Top 25. Amber is an alto in both Top 25 and A Cappella Choir. When she's not busy with Top 25, Amber occupies herself with many activities. She is a co-captain of the varsity football squad, a member of National Honors Society, Future Leaders, and Student Council. In
the future she hopes to attend Ohio State University to study biological sciences. Amber would like to thank all of the people who made Top 25 such an exciting experience for her.
Joanne Robertson is a third year senior and is enjoying her last year in Top 25. This year Joanne is an alto in A Cappella Choir and in Top 25. In Joanne's free time she loves hanging out with her friends, performing with Mentor High's theater program, and attending youth events at her church. In the future Joanne plans on becoming a youth minister. Before heading off to
seminary she will be attending college, but has not yet decided on her major. Joanne would like to thank her awesome friends, her loving family, and God for always being there for her, and a special thanks to all the members of Top 25. "You guys have given me such awesome and crazy memories and some of the best friends in the world. I love you and I will miss you all!" Also Joanne would like to send a special thanks to her voice teacher, who has help her so much this year, James Brown. "Enjoy the show. GX 4-life! !"
Alison Sundstrom is a senior and this is her third year in Top 25. Allison is in the Chanticleer girls Choir at school where she sings second soprano. Allison has been dancing for thirteen years and is
currently dancing at Shaker Dance Academy. At Shaker, Allison is involved in advanced hip-hop and ballet. Just when you think that is all she does, Allison also has a job! She currently works for the city at the Mentor Civic Arena, where she is employed as a skate guard. Allison would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support throughout all the ups and downs. Finally, she would like to congratulate Top 25 for getting through the hardest part of the year. "It's all downhill from here! Let's win Grand Champs!"
Anthony Berzin
is a senior in his second year in Top 25 having a lot of fun. He sings bass in the group and also in A Cappella Choir. He has also been a member of Memorialaires from Memorial Jr. High School and was a participant of District Seven Honors Choir. In his free time, Anthony enjoys hanging with his boys, "I love you Erich and Matt", watching
football, working at Classic Ford "peace, love, Valvoline", and spending time with his girlfriend, "you never cease to make me smile!" Anthony would like to give a special "I love you" to sister Amy and brother Nick. "I love you guys so much". And finally a huge thank you to Chicago Bears legend Mike Ditka, without him, the world would be a very ugly place, "thanks Ditka!"
Courtney Brown
is a senior and is very excited about her second and final year in Top 25. When she isn't singing and dancing you can find her in A Cappella Choir, spending time with friends, or begging her Grandma to make her "famous" spaghetti. Courtney would like to thank her best friends Dani and Christina for
their love and support through her years at the high school, "You guys are the best", and Top 25 for giving her 35 new best friends and the most, interesting and fun-filled two years of her life. Most of all, she would like to thank her two biggest fans; her mom and dad who are always front row and giving all the support and love in the world. She would like to thank Dr. Touchton and Mr. Kulma who not only teach, but also inspire. To the underclassmen of Top 25 she leaves this , thought: "You will never be happy searching for what happiness consists of. "You will never live if you are looking for the
meaning of life". To the audience: "Thanks for coming to support us and please enjoy the show!"
Rachel Canteri
is a senior in her second year of Top 25. She sings second soprano in Choir and Top 25. Rachel attends weekly voice lessons with Mrs. Brewer, and would like to thank her. In addition to AP classes at Mentor High, Rachel participates in PSEO at Lakeland. Between these two, Rachel hopes to achieve
sophomore standing in college before she graduates. Upon entering college she will most likely major in Spanish with a minor or double major in business. She would like to say that, ''as long as you have faith in yourself your efforts will payoff someday, even if there is adversity or difference of opinion along the way". She would like to thank her parents for being there when it's hard, Daniel Boone for always cheering her up by being her fancy best friend, Starquisha for keeping the soul alive, and Elle Woods for being her inspiration to reach any and all goals.
Steve Jacobson
is a senior enjoying his second year in Top 25. Steve has participated in A Cappella Choir at the high school for two years and sings bass. He likes to play sports, and plans to play varsity lacrosse this year. He also thoroughly enjoys to complete homework assignments, watch Spongebob Squarepants,
and eat at the new and improved Cardinal Cafe. Steve is currently enlisted in the Army and his plans for after high school include college and firefighting. He would like to thank his family, "The Fam", and everyone else who has helped him along his way.
Craig Sundstrom
is a senior enjoying his second year in Top 25. He sings bass in both Top 25 and A Cappella Choir
at the high school. Aside from show Choir, he also dances with the Shaker Dance Academy, where he
studies hip-hop. Offstage, Craig plays varsity lacrosse, is striving toward completing requirements
for Eagle Scout, and is commissioned as a Peer Minister in the Episcopal
Diocese of Ohio. Craig also holds a job at the Mentor Civic Arena. After
graduation he plans to attend a four year college. Craig would like to thank his family
for their love, all of his friends for the awesome memories, and the members of Top 25 for
the unforgettable good times. He would also like to thank "The Fam" for the
unconditional support. "Friends by fate, family by choice"
Pat Buccilli
is a second year member and is enjoying his time in Top 25.sings tenor in A Cappella Choir.
When Pat is not in Top 25, he enjoys playing the drums and hanging out with his friends. Pat would
like to thank his family and friends for their support. "Thank you, and enjoy the show!"

Jonathan Duy is currently a junior and is enjoying his second year in Top 25, In Top 25 he sings bass as well as in Mixed Choir, Jon thinks that this is the best show yet and is looking forward to winning a competition, In his spare time he likes to play the drums, spend time with family and spend time with his
friends. After high school Jon would like to attend college and study journalism, photography, or graphic design.

Cristina Guerrieri is a junior and is enjoying her second year in Top 25. Cristina sings alto in Top 25 and first alto in Chanticleer. She has also attended the Great Lakes Show Choir Camp over the summer for the past two years. When Cristina is not at Top 25, she likes to hang out with her friends or work at FYE.
Cristina loves performing, singing, and being on stage. She knows that this year will be just as fun as last year. She would also like to thank her family and friends for all of their encouragement, love, and support. Cristina hopes that everyone enjoys the show!

Holly Klass
is returning for her second year in Top 25 as a junior. This year, she will be cheerleading for Mentor's
varsity basketball team. She is also active in the Student Council. Holly is studying voice with Mrs.
Jennifer Brewer and would like to send her a huge thank you. In her so-called "free time", Holly
can be found at the Dance Theatre of Ohio, where she's been studying dance for twelve years. Holly would
like to thank her family and her best friends for making the year a little easier. "I Love you guys!

Will Koehler is a second year junior in Top 25. He sings tenor in both the group and A Cappella Choir and is loving every minute of it. He is actively participating in Future Leaders and Student Council at Mentor High. He is also a PSEO student at Lakeland Community College. Will instructs martial arts as a second degree black belt at Karate Institute of Mentor and helps
coordinate the Demo Team. He is also a Peer Minister of the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio. He has high hopes for the group this year and would like to thank the group for the many memorable good times. "Sit back and enjoy the show!"

Carli Macek is a junior enjoying her second year in Top 25. She currently sings second soprano in the group as well as in A Cappella Choir. In school, Carli keeps busy with cheerleading, All-City girls Choir, Student Council, Future Leaders of America, and she is secretary of her junior class. Carli has attended Show Choir Camp for the past three
years, participated in solo and ensemble contests for four years, and has been studying voice with Mrs. Jennifer Brewer for the past year. When Carli's not keeping busy with Top 25 and school she enjoys every chance she gets to hang out with her friends. She would like to give a big thank you to her friends, past teachers, and most importantly her family for being so supportive throughout her life. "Enjoy the show!"

Mackenzie Rust sings alto, is a junior and second year member of Top 25. She is also a member of Chanticleer, Mentor High's all girl Choir. She is in her second year of Theatre Arts and first year of student directing. Mackenzie has been in show Choirs since the eighth grade. She started performing with Mentor Shore Junior High's Shoreline Singers, directed by Ms. Laurel Kunes. During her time with that group, she traveled to Toronto and Disney
World. She'd like to thank Ms. Kunes for introducing her to the exciting experience of show Choirs. Mackenzie is a fan of musical theatre. She has attended many performances, including "The Lion King", "Rent" (twice), "Jesus Christ Superstar" and most recently "The Producers". She has also seen many other musical idols in concert. Mackenzie holds dear the relationships she has made during her two years in Top 25. They are some of the best people you could ever possibly want to meet. They help make the group a family in every sense of the word. "I love you guys, and my girls!" Mackenzie would like to

Rachel Schuster is a junior and loving her second year of Top 25. Rachel sings second soprano in both Top 25 and Chanticleer. Besides Top 25, Rachel enjoys playing on the girls golf team, and being involved in Future Leaders of America, AFS and Community Service Club activities. On the weekends you find Rachel teaching Sunday school to kindergarten and first graders and in
her temple youth group. Rachel also takes voice lessons from Mrs. Jennifer Brewer. Rachel thinks this years group is dedicated and motivated and is going to have a successful year. She would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support.

Heather Zbasnik is a junior and in her second year of Top 25. She sings second soprano in the group and in Chanticleer Choir. She is very excited for this year's show and to get to know the new members. Out- side of Top 25 she loves to hang out with her
friends. She still takes singing lessons from a former member and friend, Karen. For the past three summers she has been involved in the Great Lakes Show Choir Camp and loves it. Heather would like to thank her family, especially her mom, for all of their time and support. "Enjoy the show!"

Brendan Burt is a junior and a first year member of Top 25. When he is not performing with Top 25, he enjoys playing baseball, football, and basketball. He wants to go to Ohio State and earn a degree in the field of computers.

Melissa Csuhran is a junior and is thrilled .to be in Top 25 for her first year. She Sings second soprano In Chanticleer Choir, as well as In Top 25. Melissa has attended Great Lakes Show Choir Camp for the past three years and Show Choir Camps of America at Heidelburg College for the past two
summers. The most memorable moments for Melissa have been her remark- able experiences at Show Choir Camps of America. She looks forward to another summer at Heidelburg. She has also been involved in OMEA Solo and Ensemble contest for the past two years, has attended Willoughby Fine Arts under the voice direction of Tim Clark for three years, and presently takes private voice lessons from Mrs. Jennifer Brewer. Melissa partakes in jazz, ballet, and hip hop at Spot-light Dance Studio and Shaker Dance Academy. Melissa hopes to continue her dancing career not only throughout high school, but in college.
Melissa would like to say "Thank You" to all her friends and family for their love and support, and a special thanks to her mom who is behind her 100% in everything she does, and always has a bright smile to keep her going. Matt Griesmer is currently a junior in his first year of Top 25. He is a former two-year member of the Shoreline Singers at Shore Junior High School. Other activities he is involved with at Mentor include Mentor Theatre in which he participated in the musical this past year. He is also a member
of the Community Service Club as well as Future Leaders of America. In addition to attending Mentor High School, he is enrolled at Lakeland Community College as a part of PSEO. He would like to thank his family and friends for their continued support and love. When not working or attending school at, you can usually find Matt hanging out with friends. He would like to give a big thanks to Laurel Kunes and Jim Lefler for their continued love, support, and genuine friendship over the past few years. He is excited to be sharing his first year in the group with some of his best friends and hopes it will be

Mike Hunter is a junior enjoying his first year in Top 25. He sings first tenor in A Cappella Choir and enjoys singing lead in his band. When he finally finds time outside of singing everywhere, he loves to hang out with his best friends Ken and Brandon. After high school, and another year of Top 25, Mike hopes to tour the country
with his band and maybe go to college so he can work for a record label. Mike would like to thank his parents for their love and support and for not going insane with his newfound hectic schedule, his brother Jason for always being there to show him what is really important in life, and of course "his boys" Brandon and Ken for showing him some of the best times in his life. He couldn't ask for anything more and he loves them for it. Mike says, "thanks for it all!"

Ashley Luke is a junior at Mentor High and is a first year member of Top 25. She in unbelievably grateful to have been given the chance to be apart of such a incredible group. Ashley is in her second year with A Cappella Choir and has been taking voice lessons under the instruction of Ryan Bergeron at the Beck
Center of Performing Arts for three years. She would also like to thank her family for all their wonderful support and continual encouragement.

Christina Nero is a junior and is really enjoying her first year in Top 25. Last fall she was a member of the West Geauga Wolverettes and transferred to Mentor High in the winter. Top 25 has been a great opportunity for Christina to meet new friends here in Mentor, to sing, to dance, travel, and perform. For the past three years Christina has enjoyed performing with
Spotlight Dance Center in Jazz and Hip-Hop. The year she will be taking private voice lessons as well as dance lessons at Savelli's Dance studio in Jazz, and Fairmount Art Center in Ballet, and would like to continue taking guitar lessons again. Christina would like to thank all her friends and family for their encouragement, love and support. She would also like to say a special thank you to all the members of Top 25. for always pushing her to be her very best at rehearsal, during shows, and most importantly everyday.

Aaron Ujcic is a junior in his first year in Top 25. He sings bass in Top 25 as well. as Mixed Choir. In his free time he enjoys chilling with friends and being with his girlfriend Melissa. Nickie Wonsetler is proud to be debuting as a junior in Top 25 this year. She also performs with the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus and the Mentor High's A Cappella Choir, singing first soprano in both. Currently, she is in her second year of voice lessons under the direction of Mrs. Jennifer Brewer. In her spare time, Nickie can be
found visiting with her friends, talking with her family, spending time with her boyfriend, or working as a customer service representative at Premier Dry Cleaning. Her previous experiences include singing with Memorial Junior High's "Memorialaires", and Girls Ensemble, District VII Honors Choir, and All City Girls Choir. She has competed at District VII Solo and Ensemble Contest for the past four years, scoring superior ratings on solos each time. Nickie feels extremely privileged to be part of such a close-knit and successful group of talented individuals. Special thanks go out her mother for her
selfless love and support. "You were content to let me shine, that's your way." A second thank-you goes out to all the members of Top 25 for the great friendships and endless encouragement. Daniel Andrew Barker is a sophomore in Top 25. He likes music very much. In fact, he is known to break out into song often under any circumstance. Speaking of songs, Dan's favorite color is green and he has hazel eyes which some think resemble snakeskin. When Dan was fourteen he visited the Caribbean and decided to make that his retirement spot when
the time comes. Thanks go out to everyone Dan has ever met, for influencing him in each of their own special little ways, especially Dan's Mama.

Adam Bergoch
is a sophomore and a member of Top 25 for the first year. He sings tenor in Top 25 as well as in Mixed Choir. This is his third year in a show Choir group. The two years prior to Top 25 he was performing with the Shoreline Singers and the Good Vibrations from Shore Junior High. In his free time he enjoys playing the drums, underwater BB stacking, jelly fishing, and extreme rock collecting. Lauren Fenton is a sophomore and is enjoying her first year as a member of Top 25. Lauren sings first soprano in both Top 25 and A Cappella Choir. In the past three years, Lauren has sung at solo and ensemble. She was in Memorial Junior High School's singing group Memorialaires, All City Girls Choir, and District

Danielle Morgan is enjoying her first year in Top 25 as a sophomore. She sings alto in Top 25 and second soprano in Chanticleer. Danielle enjoys taking jazz, tap, and hip-hop classes at Savelli's as well as voice lessons with Bonnie Savage. In her free time, she also enjoys playing guitar. Danielle would like to

Danny Radabaugh is a sophomore and is enjoying his first year of Top 25. He sings bass/baritone in both A Cappella Choir and in Top 25. Danny has participated in numerous musical activities including two years of Great Lakes Show Choir Camp, two years of District Seven Honors Choir, two years of Memorialaires, three
years of solo and ensemble contest, and is a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus. In his spare time he likes to go out with friends and go to the movies. He would deeply like to thank his parents for their never ending love and support in everything that he does. He would also like to thank his former music teacher, Mr. Glenn Kulma, for enforcing his love for music, and to Top 25 for making his first year an awesome one. Even though this is his first year in Top 25, it is not his first time on stage. He has been in many musicals and plays at local theaters, such as
Lake Performing Arts and Willoughby Fine Arts. He is having a great time this year and is looking forward to the upcoming season. Laura Wise, a sophomore, loves dancing and singing first soprano with Top 25. She would like to thank all of this year's members for making her first year so awesome. Laura participates in many things that keep her busy. Past activities include being elected Student Council secretary, earning a Patriotic Art Awards scholarship, and serving as Choir president
for two years. For fun Laura enjoys cheerleading, horseback riding, and art. But, whether she's playing Dorothy in the "Wizard of Oz" at a summer theatre program, or earning top scores at solo competition, her main priority will always be Top 25. She would like to give a shout out to Ms. Kunes, and wish The Shoreline Singers much luck this year, I miss you all! Laura appreciates all the encouragement and support she gets from friends and family. "Thanks guys!"
